Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2025
Welcome to Lowcountry Scoops! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the rules and expectations for using our website and pet waste removal services. By scheduling or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Overview

Lowcountry Scoops provides professional pet waste cleanup services to residential and commercial customers in the Lowcountry area. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time, with notice where appropriate.

2. Scheduling & Access

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring we have safe access to the service area (e.g., unlocked gates, no aggressive pets in the yard).
  • If we are unable to access the property due to locked gates, unsafe conditions, or pets, you will still be charged for that visit
  • We make every effort to arrive on your scheduled day, but weather, holidays, or emergencies may require rescheduling.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • All service fees are clearly communicated before your first cleanup.
  • Payment is due on the day of service or via recurring billing, depending on your chosen plan.
  • We accept online payments through secure, PCI-compliant processors.
  • Prices may change with notice due to additional pets, larger yards, or increased frequency.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or pause your service at any time with at least 24 hours notice.
  • If a visit is canceled with less than 24 hours notice or access is blocked, the full service fee may apply.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unsafe weather or conditions.

5. Waste Disposal

All pet waste collected during service is double-bagged and disposed of in the customer’s waste bin.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure pets are secured or indoors during service visits.
  • Provide clear access to the service area and notify us of any hazards (e.g., broken fences, chemicals, bees, etc.).
  • Keep lawns reasonably maintained for safe access and visibility.

7. Weather & Missed Visits

We operate in light rain, but if conditions are unsafe (severe storms, flooding, lightning), service will be postponed. If we miss a scheduled cleanup, your next service will be rescheduled as soon as possible. In the event of multiple days of storms service might be skipped for the week and we will do a double-doody the following week.

8. Liability

Lowcountry Scoops is not liable for damage to lawns, landscaping, or property caused by normal service activities. We are also not responsible for injury to pets or persons resulting from hidden hazards or unsafe conditions on the property.

Our total liability is limited to the cost of the most recent service provided.

9. Service Satisfaction

We stand behind our work! If you’re not satisfied with your cleanup, contact us within 24 hours and we’ll make it right at no additional charge.

10. Communication & Updates

By providing your contact information, you agree to receive service updates and occasional promotional messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and protect your personal information.
